How You Can Get Involved
When it comes to glaucoma, most patients are asymptomatic, so they aren’t even aware they have it until they’ve already experienced permanent vision loss. If undiagnosed and left untreated, glaucoma can worsen over time and eventually lead to blindness. However, if it’s detected early, glaucoma can be treated. Help us raise awareness during World Glaucoma Week!

Importance of Getting Screened for Glaucoma
Glaucoma is asymptomatic, meaning it occurs without noticeable symptoms appearing. Proper check-ups and screenings are critical for early detection and treatment. If left untreated, glaucoma can cause vision impairment and even blindness.
